P1a Learning about Symmetry and Patterns

In our Maths lessons this term, P1a have been learning all about Symmetry and Patterns. 

In Symmetry, the boys and girls have been learning to identify objects and pictures that are symmetrical, complete symmetrical pictures and draw lines of symmetry. 

In Patterns, the boys and girls have been exploring patterns all around us, continuing picture and number patterns and making their own repeating patterns using a variety of resources.  

The children have enjoyed learning about these concepts through lots of different play-based activities including interactive games on the smartboard and chrome books.
